Description: There is an increasing need for fast, robust bioanalysis of oligonucleotide-based therapies for pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) studies. Ligand-binding assays offer suitable sensitivity; however, oligonucleotide analysis can involve complex workflows, including laborious manual pipetting and manipulations. An automated microfluidic approach using disk-based labware with a flow-through nanoliter affinity column speeds up oligo quantitation by performing the immunoassay steps with detection and data analysis. This talk presents new advances in microfluidic oligo immunoassays that improve assay speed and sensitivity while maintaining a broad dynamic range.
Learning Objectives:
Understand the advantages of a microfluidic, disk-based automated assay for oligo quantitation.
Learn the assay approaches for oligo therapeutic detection in complex matrices.
Understand the options and expected performance of ligand-binding oligonucleotide assays.
