Bijia Deng is a Senior Scientist I in Bioanalytical and Biomarker Development within Preclinical and Clinical Development Sciences at Wave Life Sciences in Massachusetts. In her role, Bijia focuses on plate-based bioanalytical assay development and CRO management for oligonucleotide PK, Immunogenicity and Biomarker to support preclinical and clinical studies. She also participates in preclinical study protocol design to test immunogenicity.
Prior to joining Wave Life Sciences, Bijia was a Senior Associate Scientist for 5 years in the Department of Global Biomarker Discovery and Development at Biogen, where she developed plate-based assays for PK and Biomarkers, as well as plate-based and cell-based NAb Immunogenicity assays. Before joining Biogen, she was a Scientist in the Department of Inflammation and Autoimmunity at Pfizer, where she specialized in early drug discovery and candidate selection for autoimmune diseases.
She holds a B.A in Medicine and a M.Sc. from Fudan University Medical School in Shanghai, China.
