Michael Travanty is the Vice president of Product Development, Engineering at Halozyme Therapeutics. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas. He has worked in the field of medical device product development for over 20 years and has spent the last 12 years specializing in autoinjector and combination product development at Antares Pharma and most recently Halozyme. Key products include the approval of the first generic equivalent Epi-Pen device, Xyosted (injectable testosterone), Makena (Hydroxyprogesterone caproate), Otrexup (Injectable methotrexate), and generic equivalent sumatriptan and teriparatide devices.
