Kazi Tasneem is a Preclinical PKPD Senior Scientist at Genentech. She earned her PhD in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. Kazi earned a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Central Florida. She also received Dean’s Fellowship and earned a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. She is currently serving as Advisory Council Member of Engineering Leadership Program, California State University, Chico.
Kazi was awarded Best Abstract Award for biological modeling at Society of Toxicology and Best Research Paper by the Department of Chemical Engineering at Vanderbilt University. Bangladesh awarded her the Young Researcher award to attend 59th Meeting of Nobel Prize Winners in Chemistry. She was involved with many leadership roles and community activities in graduate school, including, but not limited to, her service to two professional societies – Society of Women Engineers (for 5+ years) and Society of Toxicology (for 2+ years).
