Jacqueline Murphy is a Principal Scientist in the Bioanalytical Discovery & Development Sciences group at Johnson & Johnson. She leads the molecular biology team to develop bioanalytical PCR methods for cell and gene therapies in the J&J pipeline. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry from Binghamton University and her Masters in Biotechnology from University of Pennsylvania. She previously worked in the Velocigene team at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and on the discovery team at The Gene Therapy Program at the University of Pennsylvania medical school. She is an active member of the AAPS organization participating in the recently published white paper on the development and validation of PCR assays for cell and gene therapies.
