Rohini Emani, PhD. Senior Scientist, AstraZeneca
Rohini Emani is a senior scientist in integrated bioanalytics (IBA) within the Clinical Pharmacology and Safety Sciences (CPSS) at AstraZeneca, SFO (CA, USA). In her role, Rohini focuses on developing High-dimensional flow cytometry assay validations for assessing CAR-T cellular kinetics, cellular Dynamics, and immunophenotyping in clinical trials. Rohini’s expertise encompasses immunology and flow cytometry.
Before joining AstraZeneca, Rohini Emani was a Scientist II at Tranquis Therapeutics. Where she focused on small molecules’ early discovery to clinical trial. Emani has done her postdoc at the Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Her research focused on humanized mouse models for IBD to test novel therapeutics of interest. Emani has earned a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Turku, Finland, and a master’s in biotechnology from the University of Abertay Dundee, Scotland, UK.
